About the Role
This critical position plays a pivotal part in NSW construction projects, focusing on precise cost estimations and tender submissions across health and education sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs), scopes, and budgets for tenders and variations.
* Analyse and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
* Deliver accurate cost estimates aligning with market expectations and client requirements.
* Support junior estimators, cadets, and coordinators in their professional growth.
* Evaluate and enhance estimating systems, templates, and tender processes.
* Provide regular reporting on tender outcomes, win/loss analysis, and subcontractor performance.
* Contribute to business development by researching trends, pricing benchmarks, and supplier networks.
