Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic systems
• Disassemble, inspect, and refit engines, drivetrains, and vehicle components
• Repair or replace damaged parts in line with technical guidelines and manufacturer standards
• Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance
• Test and adjust systems following repairs to confirm correct functionality
• Check vehicles for roadworthiness and compliance with safety and emission standards
• Provide assistance for vehicle breakdowns when required
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Certificate III or higher in Automotive Mechanics or a related qualification
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in an automotive mechanical role
• Solid knowledge of automotive systems and repair methods
• Ability to read and apply technical manuals and service documentation
• Experience with electronic and computer-based diagnostic tools
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
• High attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
