Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager of a team of up to 15 staff to join their busy automotive workshop. This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to a qualified Motor Mechanic with strong experience in servicing, repairs, diagnostics and team management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee daily workshop operations
* Lead, support, and develop a team of up to 15 staff
* Carry out and oversee diagnostics, servicing, and repair work as required
* Communicate effectively with office and administration staff
* Ensure health & safety compliance across the workshop
* Foster a strong, positive, and productive team environment
* Coordinate call‐out jobs and occasional after‐hours support

* Full‐time permanent position (38 hours per week, 5 days)
* Occasional Saturday morning work (call‐out coordination/urgent jobs)
* Salary: $100k – $120k + Super (negotiable based on experience)

* Trade qualified Motor Mechanic
* Strong background in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
* Previous supervisory or workshop management experience
