About the Role
We are a well-established remedial building company based in Sydney, delivering high-quality defect rectification and building upgrade works across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced hands-on Site Foreman / Supervisor with strong carpentry skills to join our team.
This is a hands-on role. You will be actively involved on the tools as required, while also supervising trades and ensuring remedial works are carried out correctly, safely, and to a high standard. A strong understanding of construction details is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities on remedial projects
* Actively participate in site works as required (hands-on role)
* Manage, direct, and support multiple trades on site
* Read, understand, and correctly implement construction details, drawings, and specifications
* Ensure correct sequencing and detailing of works, including:
* Cavity flashings
* Window and door replacements
* Carpentry and structural repairs
* Concreting and concrete repairs
* Waterproofing systems
* Identify building defects and ensure appropriate remedial solutions are implemented
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
* Ensure WHS compliance and site safety at all times
* Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
* Complete site documentation, inspections, and progress reporting
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Foreman / Supervisor in remedial or construction works
* Strong carpentry skills are essential
* Demonstrated experience in a hands-on site role
* Ability to read, interpret, and apply construction details
* Solid understanding of building sequencing and trade interfaces
* Practical experience with:
* Cavity flashing systems
* Window and door replacement
* Carpentry and Structural Repairs
* Concrete repairs and structural works
* Waterproofing (internal and external)
* Ability to identify and rectify non-compliant works
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Current White Card
* Valid driver's licence
