Your new role
As an EL1 Remuneration Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering annual remuneration reviews and maintaining the department's global remuneration model. This position is open to experienced EL1s or high-performing APS6s ready to step up.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting annual reviews of salary and non-salary benefits across 100+ overseas missions
* Applying actuarial data and market intelligence to determine salary adjustments
* Maintaining and enhancing the Excel-based remuneration analysis model, including PowerQuery
* Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and centralisation for strategic decision-making
* Leading procurement and integration of market data from external suppliers
* Managing the annual data survey process across all overseas missions
* Providing high-level strategic advice and quality assurance
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including Heads of Mission and Senior Administration Officers
* Representing the department in professional engagements and resolving complex remuneration assessments
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum NV1 security clearance (essential)
* High-level expertise in HR, accounting, and remuneration analysis
* Advanced Excel skills, including PowerQuery and model maintenance
* Strong analytical capability with economic and remuneration data
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to manage complex assessments and deliver strategic outcomes
