Psychologist

The Tasmanian Government offers an exciting opportunity to join their team and work as a psychologist in a variety of settings, including child and adolescent, adult community, inpatient and extended treatment, and older persons mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care to clients based on best practice principles.
* Offer specialist assessment and treatment services to clients and their families or carers.
* Promote community awareness about mental health and serve as a consultant to other agencies.
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification or program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia is required.
* Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is mandatory.
* An area of practice endorsement, such as Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Counselling Psychology, Community Psychology, Educational and Developmental Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Health Psychology, Organisational Psychology, or Sport and Exercise Psychology, is also necessary.
