The Directorate of Maritime Engineering & Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Manager to join its dynamic data team. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to drive informed decision making across the maritime environment.
To succeed in this position, you will need to possess strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for ensuring that the strategy is aligned with business priorities across current and future toolsets, and that any solution developed is compliant with Defence policy.
As a key member of the DMEL team, you will work closely with your peers to identify relevant stakeholders' expectations and concerns, and develop methodologies and practices to achieve customer-focused outcomes. You will also be required to manage key stakeholder relationships across various Defence groups.
The Directorate of Maritime Engineering and Logistics, within the Maritime Support Branch, is responsible for the Naval Asset Management System, encompassing configuration management, engineering, maintenance, and supply support practices within the Naval Logistics Information Systems. Our mission is to provide products and services that enable Maritime Enterprises to optimise Naval Asset Management practices.
We deliver standardised solutions that integrate people, processes, tools, data and governance. Our goal is to improve efficiency, risk management, decision making and assurance of Seaworthiness outcomes for Navy. We help Maritime organisations optimise costs and improve the management of Surface Fleet assets by providing Master Data Governance and Management, Data Integrity and Assurance, Corporate Reporting and supporting Data Feeds, Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics, Data Sourcing and Integration, and Data Remediation Services.
