Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience working in disability support or a related field;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Capacity to obtain NDIS workers screen check prior to commencement;
* Ability to use computers and learn various software programs;
* Current driver's license.
You must have the right to live and work in Australia.

About The Position

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their day-to-day living. You will work in supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes) to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.
You will provide domestic and personal care assistance, as well as assist our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.

As a Disability Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities;
* Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, cooking, and cleaning;
* Supporting customers to participate in activities and engage with their community;
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve customer outcomes;
* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, families, and other stakeholders.
