We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor with a Carpentry background to work on fit-out and refurbishment projects for a national, privately owned company.
Our client has a number of projects within Aged Care facilities and require a hands-on leader who can coordinate trades, ensure minimal disruption to residents, and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and safely.
* Apply carpentry expertise to review, guide, and quality-check fit-out and finishing works.
* Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to schedules.
* Coordinate works within live aged care environments, prioritising resident comfort and safety.
* Monitor budgets, schedules, and project milestones, reporting progress to the Project Manager.
* Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and facility-specific protocols.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and site teams.
About You:
* Ideally 3+ Years experience in a Supervisory role
* Carpentry Trade Background
* Strong track record in fit-out and refurbishment projects, ideally in operational environments such as aged care, healthcare, or hospitality.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to delivering projects to a high standard of quality, on time, and within budget.
