Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced
Objectstar Developer
with strong
Objectstar
expertise to lead and deliver complex software development initiatives. This role provides technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on quality, maintainability, and production stability.
You will play a key role in
Objectstar application development, migration, and transformation
, working closely with architects, product owners, scrum masters, analysts, and testers to deliver reliable, secure, and user-focused digital services.
* Contract until July 2026 with 24 months extension option
* Canberra or Adelaide based
* You must be an Australian citizen
* Hybrid role (3 days in office and 2 day WFH)

As an Objectstar Developer, you will be responsible for some or all of the following:
* Develop, enhance, and support
Objectstar applications
* Support
Objectstar data migration projects
and subsequent application code transformation
* Lead the design and delivery of
highly complex software solutions
* Define strategies to ensure
high-quality, maintainable, and sustainable code
* Provide
specialist technical advice
on software development and maintenance
* Lead release activities, including
go-live production support and ongoing maintenance
* Lead analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing, and maintenance activities
* Conduct high-level analysis of technical requirements and propose effective solutions
* Ensure compliance with
endorsed software development methodologies, standards, and guidelines
* Investigate and resolve
highly complex ICT issues
* Promote and lead a
positive risk management culture
* Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Contribute to business planning, workforce planning, and performance improvement strategies
* Lead projects within the assigned area of responsibility and manage competing priorities

production batch processing environments
* Solid understanding of enterprise software development lifecycles, deployment practices, and cyber security requirements
* Ability to quickly gain knowledge of organisational tools, platforms, and development standards
