Tenement Administration Officer
This is an opportunity to work in a high-performing team providing exceptional administrative and clerical support to Mineral Resources Tasmania (MRT). The role contributes to the effective and efficient regulation of mineral exploration and mining across Tasmania.
1. Deliver comprehensive administrative and clerical support to MRT, incorporating preparation and quality assurance of documentation including Ministerial Minutes, Briefing Notes, and lease and license documents.
2. Serve as the initial point of contact for MRT clients, offering relevant information and directing complex inquiries to the appropriate officer or manager.
3. Oversee and manage email inquiries and incoming physical mail for MRT, ensuring proper document control, record keeping, and delivery of timely responses and follow-ups.
4. Maintain document management and records management systems in strict adherence to MRT guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to MRT.
* Liaise with stakeholders, including state and federal agencies, mining and exploration industries, community members, and other MRT branches.
* Manage client queries, applications, and incoming correspondence.
* Contribute to continuous process review to identify improvements to enhance service delivery.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
