THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to an increased workload, our Canning Vale manufacturing facility is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Production Team Member to join the afternoon shift team to manufacture and assemble products for our valued trade and retail customers.
This is permanent, full-time opportunity working on afternoon shift from (2:54pm - 11:00pm) with overtime available and shift loading.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Undergo relevant roll form
o Interpret product drawings to program the folding machine according to specifications
o Manufacturing goods to our customers' requirements
o Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines and general sheet metal equipment
o Conduct basic preventative and breakdown maintenance in liaison with the maintenance team
o Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
o Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
o Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
o Experience using sheet metal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, brake press etc)
o Experience in conducting basic preventative and breakdown maintenance
o Comfortable using technology for the purpose of machinery programming
o Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
o High level of accuracy and attention to detail
o Commitment to producing quality products
o Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
