Operations Management Position

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of services, working closely with the senior management team, and managing staff to ensure the organisation's mission is fulfilled and strategic goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the operational execution of the organisation's strategic plan, ensuring financial stability and growth of own-source revenue.
* Oversee and coordinate daily activities, including intake procedures, case management, counselling services, and support services, to meet the needs of clients.
* Represent the organisation to government bodies, peak organisations, and other stakeholders to advocate its mission.
* Motivate and guide staff to ensure efficient shelter operations, including intake procedures, case management, and counselling services.
* Collaborate with the CEO and Finance team on budget allocation, procurement, and facility maintenance.
* Foster partnerships with community organisations and government agencies to enhance support services.
* Develop and implement protocols to address crises and ensure the safety of residents and staff.
* Provide professional development opportunities for staff in areas like trauma-informed care and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in management, leadership, or community services (desirable).
* Proven success in senior management positions with a strong understanding of governance and management best practices.
* High-level communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of local and national issues related to domestic violence against women and children.
* Demonstrate a commitment to the organisation's mission and values, advocating for social justice and empowerment for survivors of domestic and family violence.
* Hold or have the ability to obtain required certifications, such as an NT Ochre Card and National Police clearance.
