The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions team. In this role you will spearhead innovation, design, and expertise within the electrical and digital disciplines in a fast growing energy business.
This is a permanent full-time role and can be based in any of the following locations; Sydney; Melbourne; Brisbane or Sunshine Coast

What you'll be responsible for
* Design and/or review of engineering design components.
* Undertaking engineering calculations and studies for electrical systems.
* Perform Energy Modelling and monitor energy performance of the renewable assets
* Project management of small works projects, including design, problem-solving, and engineering drawing production.
* Providing engineering support and advice to the Operations team.
* Procurement of goods and services within company guidelines.
* Conducting site visits and gathering information for potential projects.
* Assist with general business development related services including tender and contract documentation as required.
* Performing energy audits, energy modeling, and data analysis.
* Contributing to business development activities, including tender and contract documentation.
* Driving a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
What you'll need to be successful
* Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
* Min 5 years of relevant experience
* Experience in the designs of embedded generation and microgrids would be advantageous
* Chartered Professional Engineer and REPQ status - Preferred
* Proven experience in engineering services and project management
* Proficiency in engineering design software and drafting tools (AutoCAD, Okestra Helioscope) - Advantageous
