Service Advisor - Emerald
We are looking for a talented Service Advisor to join our high performing team in Emerald, QLD.
Description
We are seeking a Service Advisor with a mechanical background and heavy vehicle knowledge to support our customers in the southern and northern Bowen basin. This role involves providing routine support to customers, including end-users, distributors, and dealers, through various communication channels, with minimal supervision. It is ideal for a skilled professional looking to stay in the industry while stepping off the tools.
In this role, you will make an impact by:
* Being the first contact for customers, ensuring quality service and business growth in Emerald
* Handling technical queries and building positive relationships
* Scheduling jobs, booking vehicles for service, managing parts, invoices, and accounts
* Keeping customers updated on progress
* Coordinating with stakeholders, technicians, and parts teams for seamless service
* Following procedures and documenting work accurately in the service management system
Responsibilities and Minimum Requirements
* Mechanical trades qualified or automotive technician (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Engine Recon, Mobile Plant)
* Experience in a similar industry or OEM with mechanical technical expertise
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in IT systems for effective multitasking
* Understanding of accounts payable and receivable, financial processes, and purchase orders is highly desirable
Additional Information
This role requires significant relevant work experience, including prior technical and customer service experience, with good understanding of the Quickserve process and warranty processing.
Note:
* Standard shift: Mon-Fri 07:00 – 16:00
* On-call roster: 1:4 weeks
* Overtime may be required
