Test Manager Location of work: Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our team at a federal government department in Adelaide. Responsibilities Manage the timely delivery of testing outcomes and the quality of testing processes, including undertaking test effort estimation and managing resources to ensure project deliverables are met Plan, develop, and manage different types of testing through various stages on appropriate testing platforms to ensure test cases are running to project schedule Prepare and review a range of written material including complex test cases, technical and corporate documentation Provide subject matter expertise and technical analysis to ensure the functionality meets requirements Monitor and manage work output and quality, against established performance standards through interpretation of quality analysis and reporting Assist with the management of finances, resources and budget requirements and issues within area of responsibility Monitor and report on testing activities to ensure test cases are running to project schedule Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to ensure appropriate methodology and testing tools are used for testing processes Lead and manage a team, including coaching and mentoring, adapting to change and uncertainty and supporting staff through the process Manage competing priorities to achieve quality outcomes and project completion Work independently and collaboratively under broad direction, with the ability to think strategically aligning operational activity accordingly Develop long term plans for the team and manage work in the context of business priorities Undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence Make decisions based on professional judgement, risk evaluation and in the context of the environment Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies Understand and acknowledge expectations and concerns and negotiate quality outcomes with the ability to tailor communication and communication style Why Araza?
