About the Role
Following a five-year investment in building a modern digital platform, the organisation is entering the final phase of its technology roadmap focused on maturity, integration and scale.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager of Technology is a senior executive role responsible for completing this transformation and positioning technology as a competitive advantage. The role leads a lean technology function of around six direct reports across product, development, IT operations, service desk and data. The emphasis has shifted from build to execution, stability and operational excellence. This role suits a hands-on technology leader who can operate at executive level and uplift leadership capability across the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and execute the final phase of the enterprise technology roadmap, ensuring platforms are stable, scalable and aligned to business growth.
* Lead and develop a high-performing technology team, lifting leadership capability, accountability and execution standards.
* Partner with the executive team to translate business strategy into practical, value-driven technology outcomes.
* Oversee core platforms, integrations and data flows, driving simplification, reliability and scalability across the organisation.
* Ensure secure, well-governed IT operations and strong vendor partnerships, while championing user experience for carers, office staff and customers.

* Proven experience leading technology functions in customer-centric or services-based organisations.
* Strong people leader with a track record of developing leaders and building accountable teams.
* Comfortable operating in growth-oriented, acquisitive environments with complexity and scale.
* Commercially minded, able to balance delivery, risk and long-term scalability.
* Experience integrating multiple systems into a cohesive, enterprise platform.
* Executive presence with the ability to influence at COO and board level.
