An exciting and rare opportunity is now available for a dynamic and experienced Aftersales Manager to lead and centrally support the Aftersales Function within Truck and Bus, including service, parts and training.
In this pivotal role, you will lead all aftersales functions, including service, parts and training. The role will also support the Executitve Director of Franchise Operations to shape and execute strategy, grow fixed operations, and improved revenue and profitability.
Success in this role hinges on strong leadership skills to inspire your team while fostering strategic relationships with departmental managers, suppliers, and customers. Your ability to maximize the potential of every aspect of the business will be critical to achieving outstanding results.
What the role entails:
1. Drive strategies to support the performance of Service and Parts Departments across assigned dealerships.
2. Ensure consistent implementation of standard operating procedures, service quality standards, and manufacturer requirements.
3. Monitor daily performance metrics (labour efficiency, productivity, parts sales, gross profit, CSI, WIP management) and coach managers to achieve targets.
4. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency, workshop throughput and parts availability.
5. Develop and support dealership level action plans to increase revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
6. Drive Lean processes and meetings that are in line with franchisor standards
7. Mentor Service Managers, Parts Managers and frontline teams to develop capability, knowledge and performance.
8. Support workforce planning, including technician recruitment, skills development and training coordination.
9. Champion an exceptional aftersales experience by ensuring consistent delivery of high service standards.
10. Work collaboratively with senior leadership to shape and execute aftersales strategies.
11. Set clear SMART goals for General Managers aligned with CMV Group organisational goals ensuring these are cascaded to departmental managers.
What we are looking for:
12. A minimum of 5–10 years in a senior leadership role, demonstrating a proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.
13. A seasoned and accomplished manager with a strong track record of successfully overseeing fixed ops operations.
14. Extensive leadership experience, with completion of leadership development programs highly regarded.
15. A driven leader committed to building a positive team culture and driving engagement.
16. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to influence and inspire.
17. Strong professionalism paired with sound business acumen and strategic thinking.
18. Advanced negotiation and people management skills lead effectively and resolve challenges.
19. Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and long-term success.
