Asia South – Business OverviewAsia South covers 9 markets across Asia – Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore & Thailand.Direct responsibility for approximately 4-5 markets, 100+ stores per year.No. of stores around 1880 with sales contributing around USD930m.ResponsibilitiesField & Pipeline Management – 70%Country responsibility for 4-5 markets; responsible for all Development KPIs - new openings, relocations, closures, remodels, and Initial Fees/store weeks.Ensure that Franchisees are attaining their maximum market potential via application of YUM’s six-step Development process and the establishment of relationships with key franchise partners to assist in driving forward SAGFM’s agendas.Responsible for site approvals, closure approvals, and relocation approvals as per YRI guidelines.Build Franchisee capability via internal tools, formal conferences/workshops/colleges and periodic market visits.Work closely with the Market Planning team to deliver breakthrough growth in key markets.Growth Initiatives and Strategy – 15%Develop and execute market-specific programs to help drive growth; these could be in the form of incentives, Development Agreements, Franchise Policy proposals, or M&A.Lead brand and market-specific analysis to support initiatives at both strategic and field levels – this to include but not be limited to financial analysis, real estate strategy, network analysis and optimization, channel-specific analysis, site success factors, market potential, Capex optimization, or Site Selection tools & resources.Support Development Director & GM as needed in planning, business reviews, AOP, APMs, FPC proposals and other projects.New Business Models – 15%Responsible for the development of new business models/asset types for all three channels that will allow economics to work in various market conditions; this will require close coordination between Asia, Dallas, and franchise partners.RequirementsMBA graduate preferable; Degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Finance or Franchising.10+ years relevant experience in F&B or multi-unit retail industry preferred.Commercial experience a must; proven track record of deal-making and working cross-functionally with different divisions to drive the group towards a common goal.Understanding of Real Estate transactions, development process and construction principles is required.Good interpersonal skills are essential as he/she is expected to advise/train and influence people from diverse cultural backgrounds; high levels of energy and charisma are a must.A person with discipline and integrity is a pre-requisite.Strong communication/written and follow-up skills, drive to success, winning mindset highly desirable.Diversity OverviewPizza Hut, as a member of the Yum!
