Farm Support and Tractor Operators Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Farm Support and Tractor Operator to join our team at one of Australia's leading grower, packer, and marketer of premium quality fresh fruit and vegetables. Our company nurtures its people, cultivates its growing sites, and invests in ongoing research and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating farm implements, tractors, general farm operations including tasks such as:
* Operating tractor spray unit combinations toward the safe application of sprays to berry crops
* Maintaining regular checks on equipment maintenance
* Ensuring compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
About the Opportunity:
This is a long-term opportunity for an individual who enjoys working independently while following direction without supervision. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical knowledge skills would be advantageous.
* A valid driver’s license; own vehicle preference or willingness to use company transport.
* Broad experience as a tractor operator with manual handling skills
* Certification in Chemical Accreditation would be beneficial but not necessary-
