Lead the finance engine behind a growing, multi-site care organisation
Pennwood Aged Care Services is expanding across residential and community care, integrating new sites and strengthening systems to support long-term growth.
We are seeking a senior finance leader to partner directly with the CFO and take ownership of operational finance performance, controls and reporting across the organisation.
This is a Director-level leadership role focused on building capability, strengthening governance and delivering reliable financial insight — not a transactional accounting position.
What you will do
* Lead the operational finance function (AP, AR, payroll, month-end, reconciliations)
* Manage and develop a small finance team
* Strengthen processes, controls and financial governance
* Own budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
* Deliver accurate management and board reporting
* Identify risks, improve systems and drive efficiency
* Build a scalable finance function to support organisational growth
About you
You are an experienced, practical finance leader who enjoys building structure and delivering outcomes.
What you bring
* Senior finance leadership experience (Finance Manager / FP&A Lead / similar)
* Proven experience leading teams and improving finance processesli>
* Strong financial controls and systems capability
* Advanced budgeting, forecasting and analysis skills
* Confidence working with executives and senior stakeholders
* Experience in aged care, health, community services or regulated environments is advantageous.
