This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, and presents a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing team supporting market access and reimbursement strategies in Australia & New Zealand by integrating clinical outcomes and health economic evidence to demonstrate the value of our medical devices.
You will be given the support you need, however, have the freedom to work autonomously in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify funding and reimbursement pathways across both public and private healthcare systems.
* Assist in developing value propositions that demonstrate clinical and economic benefits of products.
* Analyse data to support submissions to payers, HTA bodies, and regulatory.
* Collect and analyse pragmatic evidence activities from surveys, clinical and claims databases (AIHW, IHACPA, MBS).
* Develop fit-for-purpose economic models and cost calculators to quantify value in Australian and New Zealand settings (public and private).
* Prepare Prescribed List reimbursement submissions and support MSAC applications when required.
* Develop evidence packages and prepare outcomes-based contracting if required.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare consulting
* Exposure to market access, RWE, and reimbursement submissions in Australia
* Bachelor's or master's degree in health economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Medical Science, or related field. Understanding of health economic principles (cost-effectiveness, budget impact, QALYs) relevant to MedTech.
* Experience or familiarity with Australian healthcare funding frameworks, including Prescribed List, MSAC, and AR-DRG classification, coding systems and funding mechanisms.
