Water Treatment Technician Role
This is an opportunity to work in a water treatment environment, operating and maintaining advanced water and wastewater plants.
* Responsibilities will include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, using trade skills to operate and maintain treatment plants, and supervising contractors at the worksite.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of treatment plants, including monitoring and controlling plant systems, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Trade Certificate – Electrical or Mechanical, and/or a Certificate III National Water Package (Treatment), or be willing to work towards these qualifications.
* You should also have relevant high-risk licenses, such as LF, EWP, DG, CV, and be trained and competent in Confined Space Entry and SCADA and atmospheric monitoring equipment.
