About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for leading and advocating for design and product direction across complex diagnostic and cell therapy development programs.
You will drive hands-on concept development, translating ideas from initial sketches through to compelling 3D visualizations and prototypes. You will create, iterate and refine design concepts and prototypes to guide final design decisions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Industrial Designers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Human Factors Engineers, Scientists and Program Managers.
You will directly engage with clients, scoping new projects and using storytelling and visualization to influence product direction.

Requirements
* 5+ years of professional experience in product design, demonstrated through a compelling portfolio
* Bachelor's Degree in Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design or equivalent
* Experienced in user research and observation, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights and design inputs
* Strong visual and verbal communication skills for presenting complex ideas
* Proficient in 3D CAD (Solidworks), Adobe Creative Cloud; Keyshot or similar rendering software
* Adept at building low and mid-fidelity prototypes using foam-core, 3D prints, and other methods
* Capable of balancing user needs and technical constraints in product design decisions
* Collaborative mindset and ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
* Comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities within tight timelines
