We are seeking a skilled Centre Cook to join our team.
This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday between 7am-3pm.
Job Summary
* To implement and modify seasonal menus created by nutritionists.
* Maintain checks in compliance with NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations.
* Support staff and families in education and care.
* Collaborate with staff and families for learning opportunities.
* Maintain professional relationships with management, staff, families and children.
Requirements
* Experience in cooking or preparing meals in Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care.
* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care preferred.
* An alternative commercial cookery qualification.
* A Food Handlers Basics Certificate required.
* A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check necessary.
* Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS.
