URGENT HIRING Disability Support Workers willing to travel to Prestons NSW 2170. Required: NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW) (or willing to obtain). Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate. Working with Children Check (WWCC). Current full Australian driver’s license and own car (not required, but the role is open to driving staff as well). Comprehensive Car Insurance (if driving). Other requirements: Fluent in English. Skilled in Manual Handling, managing challenging behaviours, and delivering other high-care support. Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN). Previous experience with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression and Anxiety. About the role: Your role is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes but is not limited to: Intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support to assist clients in successfully improving their physical and mental health. Has an initiative to plan client's activities and other social outings. Develop connections with the community, and achieve their goals. Assist in their needs of daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and so on. Willing to do both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing. Willing to be on-call and travel to different areas. This is a casual employment position offering an attractive hourly rate depending on experience and availability.
