Job Overview
We are seeking a visionary leader to drive strategic transformation and guide high-performing teams through change. This role is based in our Warrnambool office, overseeing strategic planning and reporting functions, fostering key partnerships across First Nations, innovation, and sector-wide networks, and leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate Board and Executive processes to establish and monitor corporate strategy.
* Lead the implementation of our First Nations 'Towards Reconciliation' strategy, strengthening relationships with Traditional Owner groups in our region.
* Coordinate our Innovation program, overseeing research and development projects and partnerships.
* Support the General Manager - Strategic Services to facilitate an annual program of activities for the Board Strategic Issues Committee.
* Manage a small team within a high-performing unit focused on navigating future direction and business transformation.
Requirements
* Foundational understanding of governance and strategy principles.
* Experience translating strategic intent into action and implementing innovative propositions.
* Strong verbal and written communication, excellent time management.
* Navigating complex operational environments.
