Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you!
We have an exciting Coordinator opportunity leading our Outside School Hours Care service, Helping Hands Eumundi State School located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast .
As an added incentive, we are offering a $1,500 commencement bonus to be paid at 4 weeks in the role and a $1,500 retention bonus paid at 12 months in the role.
About the role
You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
1. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
2. Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
3. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
4. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
The service at Eumundi operates out of the large school hall, inclusive of their own kitchen plus access to the tennis courts, playgrounds and ovals around the school.
This permanent part-time opportunity offers 34 hour per (including 5 admin hours!) You will be working as under the roof ratio, allowing you to move among the groups of students and team members.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

6. Experience leading a team
7. Strong and clear communication
8. Team player with a desire to become a service leader
9. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
10. Australian work rights
11. Qualified or enrolled in a Diploma or Higher qualification in Education, Childcare, Humanities, Allied Health, Sport, Drama or similar
