About the Role
As Head Vet Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day running of the clinic, supporting both our vets and nursing team while maintaining exceptional standards of care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading, mentoring, and supporting the nursing team
* Managing daily clinic workflow and nurse rostering
* Maintaining clinical standards, protocols, and infection control
* Assisting with surgical procedures, anaesthesia, and patient care
* Overseeing stock control and equipment maintenance
* Supporting nurse training and development
About You
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2–3 years' nursing experience (leadership experience preferred)
* Strong clinical skills including anaesthesia and surgical nursing
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A positive, team-focused leadership style
* Commitment to high standards of patient care and client service
