Roadways is a proud Tasmanian road surfacing company that has been in operation for over 60 years and continues to deliver quality road solutions through our businesses including Roadways Surfacing, Linemarking, Civil Services and Rockit Asphalting.
Known for our high-quality work installing steel beam and wire rope barriers, we continue to experience ongoing growth delivering civil solutions to our clients across the state and seek skilled crew members to join our Civil Services team on a permanent full-time basis.
You will work as part of a group to deliver quality work within tight timeframes and be expected to perform multiple duties as required including, operating a variety of machinery and manual labour. Based in our headquarters in Glenorchy, you will be required to work reasonable overtime in busy periods and travel throughout the state when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Experience operating excavators, loaders, forklifts and other mobile plant machinery
· General labouring experience
· White card
· Current driver's licence
· Fit and able to carry out manual labour
· A positive attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a
team, and
· A strong commitment to safety.
