Encompass Financial' is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in our Geraldton, WA 6530 office. This part‑time role will involve providing critical financial and administrative support to our small business clients.
What You'll Be Doing
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients
* Prepare and process invoices, bills, payroll and other financial transactions
* Reconcile bank and credit card statements
* Generate financial reports and statements as required
* Liaise with clients, and tax authorities
* Provide general administrative support as needed
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a small practice or for small business clients
* Minimum 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience required
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, processes and software (e.g. MYOB, Xero)
* Proficiency in either MYOB or Xero bookkeeping software essential
* Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
* Effective communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping (desirable)
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for this position
