Property/Real Estate Lawyer -Developments/Projects (4 yrs-Senior) This key pivotal role reports to a stand-out
GENERAL LEGAL COUNSEL
and liaises with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Key focus areas include:
Transactions
- Advise, review, draft and negotiate legal documents to be entered into by the business across property (including initial due diligence and land acquisitions), planning, construction, finance, corporate and general commercial.
Disputes
- Assist in managing and resolving disputes/potential claims, prepare evidence and liaise with external lawyers as required.
Compliance and Corporate Governance
- Manage ongoing compliance requirements applicable to the business, prepare and review corporate governance policies and procedures.
General Legal
- Provide legal advice generally as required to internal stakeholders, review, prepare and update precedents, and engage in legal research.

Currently heading into another growth spurt, we are looking to add to the legal team.
WHO YOU ARE
Are an admitted lawyer in NSW with minimum
4 years +
post‑admission experience in
property law (including property development – essential) plus
preferably construction and/or development finance.
Have solid experience and knowledge of residential property developments, planning law, property acquisitions, property contracts and subdivisions, and preferably property finance.
Have worked in
private practice
and (preferably)
in‑house for property development/construction companies.
Are
proactive and meticulous
and possess strong legal technical and drafting skills.
Hold strong
communication and interpersonal skills, are highly adaptable, and hands‑on.
Have a
proven ability
to work in a
fast‑paced, deadline‑driven
environment managing multiple tasks simultaneously – essential.
