Senior Electrical DesignerLocation: Melbourne OR Perth Based
Are you ready to elevate your career? I am looking for a talented Senior Electrical Designerfor a full service Engineering Firm with a strong client list and project pipeline across Australia. Work on exciting projects for tier 1 clients such as Rio, BHP, etc across AUS and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Electrical Designeryou will:
* Develop and design electrical systems from scratch for various electrical projects
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
* Prepare detailed technical electrical drawings and documentation.
* Utilise advanced design software and tools using Bentley OpenBuildings Designer
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers
Experience Needed:
* Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Designer in an engineering consultancy or major projects within Australia
* 7-10+ years of relevant electrical design experience.
* Proficiency in electrical design software (requires experience in Bentley OpenBuildings Designer, Bentley Microstation)
* Expert Knowledge of Electrical systems for Electrical Design up to 220kv, Earthing, Cable Ladders, UG Cabling, MCC's, VSD's, Transformers, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Vendor Electrical Equipment, Communication Systems etc, to produce detailed SLD's, Schematics, Terminations, General Arrangements, Block Diagrams
* Electrical 3D design experience, including Cable routing above and below ground, 3D electrical equipment placement and bracketry
Nice To Have Experience:
* Experience with multiple commodities, including gold, copper, lithium and iron ore
* Exposure to multiple commodities including iron ore, gold, copper, lithium, etc
