We are seeking an energetic, motivated and confident Events and Activations Specialist to play a key role in delivering event and experiential projects at Think HQ. This is a role that implements inspiring, effective, and high-quality events from conception through to completion. **About the role**

The Events and Activations Specialist will have experience in navigating complex projects be this in the nature of the brief, the client or the environment in which a project is being delivered.

The Events and Activations Specialist will support the Events & Activations Manager and PR & Events leads as part of the PR and Events Team. The role encompasses all aspects of event management, client / project delivery, contract adherence, client relations, internal initiatives and maintaining high quality work.

Some of the duties for this role include:

- Manage the implementation of a portfolio of Event and Activation accounts
- Deliver the strategy and execution of Think HQ's Events and Activations
- Manage the implementation of pre-agreed activity on client accounts/projects
- Implement and deliver the production of effective and high-quality materials to ensure the delivery of exceptional events and activations
- Provide counsel to clients to aid their events, PR and wider marketing campaigns
- Build relationships with existing and new clients on a day-to-day level
- Brief clients and update them on project progress
- Recognise, work through, and resolve conflict situations (internally and externally)
- Negotiate with clients and manage/respond to client issues and enquiries (eg. budgets, timelines and deliverables)
- Contribute to brainstorming and strategy development on new and secured projects
- Develop clear and concise implementation plans for new project briefs, which include appropriate recommendations for engaging Australia's diverse population (including but not limited to First Nations, LGBTQ+ multicultural audiences)
- Monitor and manage project budgets for portfolio of projects, including briefing team members on project budgets from the outset
- Manage client documentation, including the preparation of relevant WIP documents, final campaign materials, and evaluation report

**Responsibilities**:
**About you**
- You have over 5 years of experience in a similar role - ideally you have strong experience in Experiential / Brand Activations, Major Events & Online/Virtual Events (Planning and Implementation - end to end)
- You have tertiary qualifications or experience in Events, Public Relations or related field
- You have strong project management skills, with experience in managing several projects at once
- You are a natural problem solver, with the ability to think outside the box and make critical decisions, in real time
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong attention to detail
- You have the ability to work well under pressure and within a team
- You are well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic, with exceptional interpersonal skills
- You have reliable home internet and a suitable space to work from home
- You are open to travelling and managing events both locally and interstate
