Administration Officer - Construction
Contract position with potential to transition to a permanent role, located in the Inner Brisbane Suburbs.
Job Overview
Gain valuable experience by supporting project administration officers on current projects at a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry.
You will play a pivotal role in assisting administration officers with current and new projects, ensuring seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Preparation: Prepare site packs for new projects, including printing, binding, filing, and identifying documents.
* Documentation Management: Close project documentation, guaranteeing completeness of PQRs.
* Financial Transactions: Raise purchase orders and follow up with Site Managers or Project Managers for goods received and payment.
* Office Administration: Maintain and order office stationery, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
* Uniform and PPE Management: Update and log uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) orders.
* Additional Support Tasks: Provide ad hoc administrative and project support as required.
Minimum Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
Desirable Attributes
* Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Reporting and Documentation: Confidence in producing reports and documentation.
* Industry Background: A background in white-collar construction is desirable but not essential.
* Computer Literacy: Sound computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP are required.
* Flexible Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
