We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Construction Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are fully documented, accurately costed, and ready for construction.

Key Responsibilities:
* Project Coordination: Lead and coordinate the pre-construction process across internal teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers.
* Documentation Management: Oversee the completion of all pre-construction documentation, including engineering, certifications, and framing.
* Client Communication: Ensure all client selections, approvals, and sign-offs are completed before site start.
* Timeline Management: Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure jobs are construction-ready and compliant with company timelines.
* Purchase Orders and Supplier Documentation: Issue purchase orders and supplier documentation in alignment with construction programs.
* Costing and Estimating: Provide costings for client variations, upgrades, and post-contract changes.
* Budget Tracking: Maintain and update estimating databases for materials, labour, and trade pricing.
Requirements:
* Proven Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within residential construction (or possibly commercial construction).
* Project Coordination Skills: Strong background in project coordination and contracts administration.
* Residential Construction Knowledge: Excellent understanding of residential construction plans, processes, and materials.
* National Construction Code: Solid knowledge of the National Construction Code.
* Estimating Software: Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Buildsoft, Databuild, Buildxact, or similar).
* Communication and Time Management: Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
* Team Leadership: Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments.
* Qualifications: Qualifications in Building, Construction Management, or Estimating (desirable).
