Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision in financial operations? We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team and take charge of our payroll, accounts payable, and accounting functions.
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the efficient processing of all payroll transactions for the fortnightly payroll cycle. You will determine payroll deductions and liabilities, such as workers' compensation payments and salary sacrifice, and resolve any discrepancies with accuracy. Adhering to established policies and procedures, you will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll operations. Additionally, you will contribute to the financial health of the organisation by developing ad hoc financial reports. Beyond the numbers, you will also assist and advise staff on payroll matters, fostering a supportive work environment and working closely with the CFO.
As the overseer of accounts payable, your responsibilities will include the creation of purchase orders, and sorting, and matching invoices. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of all accounts payable functions for our clients. Systematic archiving of accounts payable records and proactive liaison with suppliers and contractors will be key aspects of your contribution to our financial processes. In the accounting realm, you will reconcile and process monthly credit card expenditures, contributing to the accuracy of financial records. Your role will extend to assisting in end-of-month journals and reports when necessary.
