We're expanding our team and seeking a Payroll Officer to join us in Roma.The RoleThe Payroll Officer will work as part of a team to deliver end-to-end payroll for a workforce of 450+ employees across multiple payrolls and pay cycles.
The focus is on accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

This role has strong opportunities for career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end payroll each fortnight.Work with HR Manager and Business Operations Officers to finalise timesheets in line with rosters.Manage payroll administration and employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, terminations, leave, pay changes).
Maintain payroll records and systems.Ensure compliance with Superannuation, STP, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation, Child Support, Paid Parental Leave, reimbursements, and entitlements.Complete payroll reconciliations, monthly reporting, and assist with BAS and TAX.Respond promptly to payroll queries.Finalise month and year-end close.Identify and support payroll process improvements, work with team on HR systems development.Liaise with external advisors as required.Assist HR Team in general administration tasks.Skills and Experience2+ years' payroll or similar experience.Strong knowledge of payroll processes, awards, and legislation.Certificate IV in Payroll or higher (desirable).
Experience with Xero and Employment Hero (desirable).
