Healthcare Australia (HCA) are currently looking for a
**State Manager** to become a valued member of our Home Care team in Queensland.

HCA is a registered provider and offers leading disability support services across the Nation through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) government funding. From Nursing and Complex Care to day-to-day support, our goal is to provide the best quality support and care based on the participant's lifestyle and needs.

**About the role**:
The State Manager is responsible for the the successful delivery of the end-to-end customer journey in line with Healthcare Australia's (HCA) strategic objectives. This is achieved through the leading and management of the Business Development and Onboarding, Recruitment, and Customer Care.

This leadership role will direct the provision of high-quality services through service and workforce planning to build HCA's customer base and market share within the Aged Care sector to achieve annual budgets and growth targets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of business development and customer care initiatives to deliver growth targets
- Manage the Customer Care Team to ensure all service delivery compliance and reporting requirements are being met; specifically related to Service Agreements, Funding Management Activities and Plan Reviews and customers' funding is managed effectively
- Ensure all customers' documentation and case notes are up to date, complete and of a high standard
- Lead the Recruitment team to onboard and build our workforce capacity and capability to deliver an excellent workforce experience
- Monitor the quality-of-service delivery in accordance with Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018
- Comply with company policies and procedures including business principles, misconduct reporting procedure and competition law compliance policy to meet HCA's expectations
- Conduct and document monthly supervision of all direct reports
- Manage any training needs or performance issues

**About you**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Healthcare & Business Development
- Minimum three years' experience and success with managing people and teams effectively
- Strong understanding and experience in the Disability Sector, Relationship building and Stakeholder Management
- Experience and success in working in a customer focused service business
- Experience in managing business development initiatives and activities preferably gained within a disability/healthcare environment
- Demonstrated prioritizing, time management and leadership skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- High level communication skills, written and verbal
- Advanced knowledge and use of MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Current or willing to obtain National Police check
- Current or willing to obtain NDIS workers screening check
- 2 x Covid-19 Vaccinations and yearly influenza vaccination
