Lead Security Operations Across One of Australia’s Most Dynamic Destinations

Based on the Gold Coast, this role offers the opportunity to oversee security operations across a diverse portfolio of high-rise residential buildings and licensed venues in one of Australia’s busiest tourism and entertainment destinations. No two days are the same — you will be managing operations across premium residential buildings, nightlife venues, and hospitality environments while working closely with clients and venue operators.

This is a senior position suited to an experienced Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing service delivery, managing teams, and maintaining strong client relationships across the portfolio.

Importantly, this role is not a hands-on guarding position. The successful candidate will operate in a strategic and managerial capacity, overseeing operations, managing staff, and ensuring service excellence across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee security operations across multiple sites including residential Body Corporate buildings and licensed venues
• Lead and supervise site supervisors and security teams across the portfolio
• Develop and manage staff rosters to ensure operational coverage and efficiency
• Maintain strong relationships with Body Corporate committees, venue operators, and existing clients
• Act as the primary operational contact for clients and stakeholders
• Conduct site audits, performance reviews, and operational inspections
• Ensure compliance with security licensing legislation, WHS requirements, and company procedures
• Oversee incident management processes and reporting standards
• Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing sites and pursue new business opportunities
• Monitor service standards and ensure a professional and customer-focused security presence

Essential Requirements

• Current QLD Security Licence (1AE minimum)
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in a security leadership or operations management role
• Demonstrated experience managing teams across multiple sites
