We're looking for a Senior JDE Consultant to join our high‐performing Oracle Managed Services team. As part of our JDE Support team, you will be responsible for the support and delivery of JDE based applications which includes the full software development life cycle for our clients. You will have a good understanding of the Support Delivery process with reference to incident, problem, change, and release management. You will be responsible for communicating directly with end users either by phone or email.
Responsibilities
* Manage your individual workload across multiple clients, deadlines, and deliverables.
* Work with cross-functional teams with the wider JDE Team to drive system/solution/technical architecture and drive effective management of the application
* Monitor and triage incoming incident and requests
* Provide frontline application support and troubleshooting expertise for JD Edwards and associated third-party bolt-on applications
* Implementation of JDE requirements following client change control processes as directed by (Account Lead, Customer Delivery Manager, Delivery Director etc)
* Provide end user support on JDE processes
* Case Management using ITIL processes
* Assist with development of end user documentation where required
* Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of 3rd party applications related to the ERP system
* Assist with Development and support customized forms for specific needs of Client.
* Assist with presales activities and provide support in the preparation of implementation estimates, proposals, and statements of work.
* Leveraging support knowledge to create process improvement opportunities
* Producing functional design for new and existing requirements
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience working with JDE applications as a functional consultant or Business / systems analyst.
* Recent, relevant, hands-on experience supporting JDE users
* Post implementation support
* Cross functional JDE application knowledge highly desirable (finance/transportation/manufacturing/capital asset/real estate etc)
* Orchestrator experience
* Ability to review client requests for modifications and create an accurate estimate
* Ability to learn new 3rd party packages
* Medium to high level of skills in MS Word, Excel, and Access
* Confidence and Maturity - Ability to apply research and experience to complex issues
* Proven ability to identify and execute continuous improvement
* Excellent time management, record keeping and accuracy.
* Should possess excellent customer interaction skills on technology or business issues.
* Ability to deliver to Service Level Agreements and Contractual commitment
* Working experience of Global Delivery Model (Onsite/Offshore Model) is an added advantage
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and a relationship builder by nature who develops real and long-lasting relationships with clients
