Job Title: AOD Trainee

As an AOD trainee, you will work closely with experienced professionals to deliver high-quality care to clients seeking assistance with substance use. You will be part of a structured training program over 12 months, which includes developing your understanding of the AOD treatment system, harm reduction principles, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering high-quality care to clients seeking assistance with alcohol or other drug use
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the AOD treatment system, including where and why clients are at increased risk of overdose and other AOD-related harms
* Implement harm reduction principles and strategies in client care
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in AOD or currently completing a Certificate IV or Diploma AOD during traineeship
* Developing understanding of the AOD treatment system, where and why clients are at increased risk of overdose and other AOD-related harms
* Knowledge and understanding of harm reduction principles and strategies
