Randstad is currently looking for a reliable Medical Receptionist for an ASAP start to join a busy clinic on the Gold Coast. This is an ongoing casual role for 3 days a week, with the opportunity for consideration to go permanently down the track for the right person.

About the role
As a medical receptionist, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients, playing a key role in delivering the welcoming and professional experience the practice is known for. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Facilitating patient arrivals and managing the daily clinic flow.
* Coordinating appointment scheduling and managing phone enquiries.
* Providing administrative support to the General Practitioners and nursing team.
* Processing Medicare, DVA, and private health fund billing with a high degree of accuracy.
* Maintaining electronic patient records (Experience with Best Practice software is highly regarded).
About You
We are seeking a professional who is comfortable navigating a fast-paced GP environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
* Previous experience within a General Practice or a similar clinical setting.
* Availability to commit to 3 days per week (Monday-Friday) on an ongoing basis.
* A natural ability to connect with people and provide empathetic support, especially during stressful or sensitive times.
* Confidence in managing medical billing and using practice management software.
