Fire Maintenance Technician
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Responsibilities
* Installing, testing and inspecting fire alarm systems
* Investigating and responding to alarms
* Repairing and replacing system components
* Providing maintenance and corrective services
* Programming, calibrating and adjusting systems
* Documenting work and completing reports
* Keeping up to date with industry standards and regulations
* Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
* Maintaining a clean and organised workplace
* Providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in the fire industry
* Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (preferred but not mandatory)
* Current Extinguisher Agent Handling License (preferred but not mandatory)
* Fire Panel testing experience (preferred but not mandatory)
* Current Blue/White Card
* Industry specific certificates such as Working at Heights, Confined Space, First Aid/CPR (preferred but not mandatory)
* Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
* Excellent time management skills
* Strong English verbal and written communication skills
