We are on the lookout for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to work for our client company who are based south of the river.
This is an initial 12 month contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Role
* Implement the Procurement and Supply Chain Business Plan, achieving key milestones and delivering measurable outcomes
* Deliver strategic and high risk/sensitive procurement activities, as part of a program or projects
* Actively supporting the team in improving sourcing timelines and commercial outcomes whilst managing the Procurement Pipeline for current and future works for completeness and accuracy
* Responsible for spend‑insight and benchmarking against business objectives, key performance indicators and purchasing compliance
You’ll have the opportunity to travel to some of these remote sites, though not as a regular thing – more 'as needed'.
Your Background
* Significant experience in a commercial environment, negotiating and managing spend for a similar‑sized and complex business
* Experience in identifying continuous improvement opportunities including in defining the business case and requirements and realize value through implementation of the change in an efficient and effective manner
* Stakeholder management experience internal (e.g. direct reports, peers and executive levels) and external stakeholders
* Procurement knowledge particularly from a source to contract, contract management, procure to pay, probity, spend, procurement system related and supplier management perspective
* Project management skills including how to effectively schedule, prioritize and address risks and issues
* A degree and or professional qualification in law, finance, management, economics, commerce or an equivalent discipline is essential.
