They are expanding operations with cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.About The RoleWorkPac are seeking a Maintenance support officer to join the team at Rio Tinto on site. This role is offering an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth for a 2-year duration.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will be required to conduct the following activities:Engagement with maintenance Planners and Schedulers:Participate in planning and scheduling meetings;Assist maintenance team in general application of efficient maintenance planning methodologies;Analyse parts requirements for planned work;Ensure timely consolidation of parts through the coordination with Maintenance Planners, Schedulers, Warehouse Officers and freight providers, RTP Buy team and vendors;Timely notification to maintenance Planners and Schedulers of any parts supply issues which may impact planned or scheduled work;Consolidate materials (ready for delivery) in accordance with scheduled Work Orders;Coordinate the return of stock to the warehouse in accordance with the RTIV process for the credit, vendor credit or disposal.Actively engage in warehouse operations including:Deliveries;Receivals;Credit returns;Consolidation;Stock control;Housekeeping.Distribution operations:Inbound express freight;Inter-site stock transfers (for PM01 / PM02 work);Assist in the Coordination of Inbound freight (onsite deliveries).Continuous Improvement including the application of site specific improvement methodologies related to safety, service and efficiency improvements.Provide front-line procurement and logistics support to the maintenance planning, scheduling and coordination functions with a superior level of proactive customer service.Skills & ExperienceC Class licence (Mandatory)LF Forklift (Mandatory)HR Truck (Desirable)SAP Experience (Desirable)Mining/Warehouse Experience preferredHow To ApplyClick on the Apply button to submit your application or for more information please contact:WorkPac Principal Consultant: Sara Mason on (08) 9201 6243 or email sara.mason@workpac.com quoting the below reference number.Job Reference Number: 7469J20256517About WorkPacWorkPac is Australia’s largest privately owned workforce solutions business.
