This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.ResponsibilitiesManage a cohort of workers compensation claims in compliance with the Return to Work Act 2014, Regulations and RTWSA Code of Conduct for Self Insured EmployersCoordinate medical reports, independent assessments, investigations and claims estimations to support claim resolutionCollaborate with employees, managers, medical providers, unions and other stakeholders to facilitate effective return to work outcomesProvide strategic advice and case management support to the Local Government Association of SA Inc and represent the Scheme at the SA Employment TribunalMaintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with information release protocolsQualificationsMinimum 2+ years' experience in workers compensation claims managementStrong knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014, relevant regulations and claims management practicesExcellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently, prioritise workloads and manage confidential informationWhat makes you stand outRelevant tertiary qualifications (desirable but not essential)Experience working with local government or self-insured employers (desirable but not essential)Understanding of administrative law principles and injury management legal issuesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and analytical skillsAbility to build and maintain professional relationships across diverse stakeholdersWhy join our teamOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on workers compensation claims management within the Public SectorWork within a supportive and qualified environment with a strong focus on collaborationExposure to a variety of stakeholders including RTW consultants, councils, medical professionals and legal representativesCommitment to work-life balance and ongoing professional developmentApplications can be considered from candidates who have the appropriate approval to work in Australia.
