Quality Assurance Technician
The Role:
* Assisting in the daily laboratory operations conducting quality assurance tests on construction chemicals at the Warehouse
* Inspecting products or materials for defects
* Ensure compliance with quality control standards, perform checks, and assist in developing quality control policies and procedures.
* Reporting and recording with use of MS Office modules
* Receive, and manage stock in warehouse and manufacturing environments with SAP, PRONTO or other programs.
* Manually lifting products and materials in a safe manner
* Working proactively and safely in a small team environment with great communication skills
Criteria:
* Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
* Min Tertiary Qualification, preferably B.Sc. Chemistry or Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
* Good Computer skills (MS Office modules and ERP software)
* Knowledge of construction chemicals or its applications
* Ability to manage laboratory operations
* Ability to handle heavy materials movement in a safe manner
* C Class Licence minimum
* National Police Clearance
