We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented administrative professional to support the Cancer Services Department. 
The role involves managing patient records, handling reception and correspondence, scheduling appointments, handling telephone enquiries, liaising with healthcare staff, and contributing to safety and quality initiatives.ResponsibilitiesProvide high level reception, administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the Cancer Services Department.Manage patient records and use computerised health information systems as required.Handle reception duties and correspondence, including scheduling appointments and telephone enquiries.Coordinate with healthcare staff to support department operations and patient care.Contribute to safety and quality initiatives within the department.QualificationsDemonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in contemporary office administration practices, systems and software including word processing, spreadsheets and data entry.Demonstrated ability to operate computerised health information systems.Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a client-focused health care setting.Details of appointmentFixed term, casual position, working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for 12 months.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.Salary and BenefitsSalary: General Stream, Band 2, 66,049 to 70,993 per annum (Pro rata).
