The role of Business Support Officer is a dynamic opportunity to provide high-quality administrative support to the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer. This position involves delivering exceptional executive support, managing diaries and calendars, coordinating logistics, and performing financial administration tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver Exceptional Executive Support: Oversee all administrative functions of the Office, providing comprehensive support to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
* Manage Diaries and Calendars: Maintain accurate diary and calendar management, scheduling meetings, managing appointments, and coordinating logistics for internal and external engagements.
* Coordinate Logistics: Ensure smooth operation of the Office by coordinating travel arrangements, preparing expense claims, and managing correspondence.
* Perform Financial Administration Tasks: Process invoices, prepare and analyse financial reports, reconcile transactions, and use the department's finance system (SAP) efficiently.
* Build Strong Working Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff at all levels within the department and with stakeholders from other public and private sector organisations.
* Manage Competing Priorities: Consistently deliver high-quality support while managing competing priorities, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
* Provide Project Assistance: Offer assistance to Managers, Directors, and the broader People and Culture branch on project work as required.
* Foster a Culture of Excellence: Identify and implement improvements to administrative office systems and processes to enhance service delivery.
